The existing website was outdated, with unengaging visuals and an inefficient shopping experience. Poor SEO performance led to limited visibility and engagement. These issues resulted in a 10% drop in user engagement and a 12% decrease in conversions compared to industry benchmarks. Users struggled to find accurate information and were deterred by a complicated shopping process.

Objectives included increasing user engagement by 15% and boosting conversion rates by 10% within six months. Additionally, integrating WooCommerce and improving onsite SEO were essential for enhancing the shopping experience and increasing site visibility.

My role

As a UX/UI designer, I was responsible for conducting user and competitor research, creating wireframes and prototypes, designing the UI elements and overall visual style, collaborating with developers to ensure seamless implementation, and iterating on feedback.

Competitor analysis included examining initiatives like Leather Naturally, the Leather Working Group, and The Real Leather. These organizations set high standards for transparency and consumer education, providing valuable insights for effective communication and user engagement.
